Stockman’s Bar on Main Street Bozeman Montana is a classic western Saloon and Eatery. Embracing the grand history of the Old West and the Cattlemen and Cattle Barons that built Bozeman in the turn of the 19th Century. Montana was built on ranching and agriculture. There has been a Stockman’s in many of the great ranching communities throughout the state and Bozeman was no exception. Stockman’s was historically one door to the west of the current location and we are proud to be able to bring a Montana tradition back to Downtown Bozeman. Honoring the great Cattle Barons of our great state and the hardy men who fed it’s citizens.
With a cold draft of beer, a stiff whiskey cocktail and a classic beef focused menu we will take you back in time to the foundation of the Bozeman community.

Who sees something more in cows than the drudgery of milking, more in swine than the grunt and squeal, more in the horse than the patient servant, and more in sheep than the golden hoof.
Herdsman, shepherd, groom-yes, and more. Broad-minded, big-hearted whole-souled; whose life and character linger long after the cordial greeting is stilled and the hearty handshake is but a memory; whose silent influence forever lives.
